Another year has passed and it was time for my organizing committees and I to do our work again, handling the English Week 2009! This year was considerably fantastic in terms of fun-ness and stupidity :D esp the debate!
We started off with Story Telling for the Form 1's. We watched them tremble in fear as they murmured the words weakly to the mike. I could smell and see the fear in their eyes(and legs). On Tuesday, we then had the Spelling Bee competition organized solely for the Form 2's. We were quite surprised when they could spell words like..exacerberscence, firth, oppugnant and other ridiculously difficult words. The next day, we had a drama competition, the highlight of the English Week. It was a memorable event as teams geared up in their costumes and gave us a spectacular show on stage. However, there was an outstanding team, team 4H who effortlessly made the whole hall erupt with laughter in almost every scene! Kudos to you guys :D Finally, we had the debate competition today. It was more of a comedy sitcom than a parlimentary style debate. Team 5H(YEAH!) totally and deliberately crushed 5P without a trace of mercy. However, it was easily the best time of the week as we all had a good laugh(I almost fell off my chair :D).
